Lower Oven - Steam Bake, Steam Roast

Turn the lower oven knob to access Steam Bake or Steam Roast.  Notice the cute steam video!

You can set the Cook Time, Delay Start, and Steam level by pressing on the appropriate "button" before pressing Start.

The first step is to fill the Reservoir.  You do that by opening the oven and pressing the Reservoir button to the right of the Start button.  The Reservoir tray will slide part way out.  You can then grasp the reservoir and remove it, pull up the rubber plug, and fill (I do this at the sink).  Replace the reservoir in the tray holder and MAKE SURE THE PLUG IS SECURELY IN PLACE.  Press the Reservoir button again to have the tray retract.  If the Reservoir is still sticking out, give it a gentle push to seat correctly in the oven.

Reservoir in this picture has been ejected using the Reservoir button, has been partially pulled out, and the plug lifted.

I found this web site that has a lot of Steam Oven Recipes:  "Steam & Bake"  I plan to link to many of these recipes in my pages for ease of access, though I won't link to all of them.  The recipes are not specific to this oven, and I haven't tested them.

Click on the link above to access this website directly.
