Lower Oven - Healthy Cook
It is unclear to me what the Healthy Cook feature really does.
Here is what I've figured out:
1) The first 4 choices (Baked Potato, Grilled Chicken, Salmon Steak, and White Fish Fillet) are available in the flex oven mode, in either the upper or lower section, and it has a pre-programmed temperature, but you can adjust that.
2) To use the Dehydrate or Bread Proof, you must use the entire lower oven, and not use the flex oven mode. They have a pre-programmed temperature, and you cannot change the temperature of the bread proof mode.
3) Cook times are not pre-programmed, so you must closely monitor your food. This may be because of size differentials - a large potato vs a small one, for example.
4) Each of the modes shows a little movie on the screen when you select it, which I take as a suggestion of how you can cook that food in a healthy manner.
5) There are suggested rack positions for each mode, in each of the oven configurations (full oven, flex upper, and flex lower). It can be found on the bottom of page 55 of the manual, below. An explanation of the rack designations can be found directly below it, or on page 58 of the manual.
It will take some experimenting!
