Chicken Wings - Slim Fry

I tried FRESH, UNBREADED, CHICKEN WINGS the first time I used the Slim Fry mode.  The manual gives you a choice of 10 or 20 wings.  Well, I was cooking 8 HUGE wings, and my husband likes them crispy.  Here's what I did:

Ingredients:

8 large chicken wings
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
olive oil (about 1 tsp)

Process:

1.  Wash and dry the wings.
2.  Season with salt and pepper.
3.  Put them on the included Hot Plate, and drizzle with olive oil.
4.  Cook them on the high rack on the SLIM FRY setting,  on the 20 wing setting.  (Mine weren't quite crispy enough, so redid the setting for 20 again, but set the minute timer for 5 minutes to check for crispiness.  I recommend you do the same, cooking them to the texture you desire.)

This image is from the Cooking Jar, but they came out looking like this:

They were moist, done all the way through, and as crispy as my picky husband likes!

Hmmm, just saw there is another setting to try for these - The manual says you can use the Power Auto Cook mode in the upper oven, and choose "Bone-In Chicken Pieces" - I'll have to try that next time!
